Terms of Use for Idle Celestial Harvest
Effective date: October 15, 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Paul Ryan Troxel, an individual developer publishing as Spellwright Studios (“we”, “us”, “our”), about the game Idle Celestial Harvest for iPhone and Android (“the game”). Please read them together with our Privacy Policy. By downloading or playing the game, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the game.
Cloud saves are available in supported releases: iCloud on iPhone and Google Play Games on Android. Releases without the relevant cloud-save support save locally and offer clipboard Export and Import.
1. Apple’s Standard EULA and these terms
The game is licensed to you under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). These terms add rules about the game’s virtual items, purchases and fair play. If these terms conflict with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA wins. Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions also apply to your App Store purchases.
We, not Apple, are responsible for the game and for these terms.
2. Age and permission
You must be old enough to agree to these terms where you live, or have a parent’s or guardian’s permission to play. If you are under 18, or under the age of majority where you live, ask a parent or guardian before you buy anything. Parents can use Apple’s Ask to Buy and Screen Time to control purchases, and on Android, Google Play’s parental controls and Family Link purchase approvals.
3. Your progress
The core game supports offline single-player play. Optional guild features are available only in versions and on platforms offering Guild Hall. The game saves progress on your device and, if iCloud is on, in your own iCloud account, which Apple manages. Guild sign-in sends separate snapshots for guild features and fair-play review as described in the Privacy Policy; those snapshots are not a backup or restore service. We cannot promise to recover lost progress. If your device and iCloud have different progress, the game asks which save to keep. The one exception is when the iCloud copy simply continues your device’s save: then up to two minutes of play on the device may be replaced. If this automatic update replaces changed local progress, the game attempts to keep a recovery copy, but that copy is not guaranteed. When you choose which save to keep, the other save stays on that device for up to 30 days (Cloud › Restore Previous Save). When both are the same game, purchases delivered only to the save you don’t keep are added to the one you keep, once each; a new game you start (Start New Game, Reset Game) starts without them. Of two different games, a game you keep on your device takes nothing from the other. If you switch to the other game, purchases made only in the game you leave on your device are added to it, once each, unless another device started, reset, imported or restored that game and you haven’t played on your device since it last synced. Purchases made before this update aren’t moved with a save: when both saves are the same game, the one you keep receives them once the App Store reports them again; another game receives one only if it was started before that purchase. Reset Game, Import and restoring a previous save also replace your iCloud save when sync is on and the confirmation says so. You can lose progress if you delete the game or lose your device without an iCloud copy, reset it, choose another save, import a different save, or delete your iCloud save. Use the game’s Cloud › Export to Clipboard to keep your own backup. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for progress lost in these ways.
4. Gems and other virtual items
The game has virtual currencies, such as gems, and virtual items, such as chests, relics, perks and boosts. You can earn them by playing or get them with in-app purchases.
- You get a license to use them, not ownership. The license is limited, personal and non-transferable, and you may use them only in the game.
- They have no cash value. You can’t exchange them for money or for anything outside the game, and we don’t buy them back.
- You can’t transfer them. You can’t sell, trade or give them to anyone, inside or outside the game. On iPhone, sharing permanent purchase benefits through Apple’s Family Sharing, as described below, is supported.
- Gems you buy don’t expire.
- They can change. As we update the game, we may change what items do, what they cost in gems, how you earn them and their odds. If an update changes how random rewards work, the Odds screen will show the new odds before you buy. We won’t take away a permanent purchase you paid for, except after a refund or where the law requires it.
5. Purchases
- Apple handles payment. You buy with your Apple Account under Apple’s terms. The App Store sets prices in your local currency, and the game shows them before you buy. Prices may include tax.
- Some purchases are used up. Separate consumable purchases, such as gem packs, are added to your saved progress once. They can’t be restored or shared through Family Sharing.
- Some purchases are permanent. Perks, bundles, unlock crates and other permanent purchases stay with your Apple Account and can be restored. Family Sharing is enabled for all permanent purchase products.
- Some offers are limited. An offer may appear only at certain points in the game or during events, or may be limited in number. We may add, change or remove offers and their contents in updates.
- Some purchases need approval. If Ask to Buy is on, a purchase waits until it is approved, and then the game delivers it.
- Delivery is automatic. The game delivers a purchase as soon as Apple confirms the payment. If something doesn’t arrive, see our Support page.
- Purchases are final. Only Apple can give refunds, under Apple’s refund policy and your local consumer law. If Apple refunds a purchase, we may remove what it gave you. For a permanent purchase, its benefits stop. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer law where you live.
6. Random rewards and odds
Some items give a random reward when you open them, such as chests, relic chests and gifts. You can buy some of these with gems, and some come in packs you buy with real money.
- Odds before you buy. The game shows the odds of every possible reward. Open the Store and tap the Odds tab, or tap Odds next to the item.
- Every opening is random. Every opening is a separate roll. Some odds depend on your progress. For example, a relic that has reached its cap stops dropping while other relics of its tier are available, and some upgrades raise your chances. The Odds screen always shows your current odds before you open or buy. No particular reward is guaranteed unless the Odds screen says otherwise.
- No cash value. Rewards from random items have no cash value, like all other in-game items.
7. Fair play
Whether you play alone or use optional guild features, we ask you not to:
- get around the game’s purchase system, or try to get paid items without paying, including through false refund claims;
- copy, change, decompile or reverse-engineer the game, except where the law allows it;
- share modified versions of the game, or tools that unlock paid content;
- use the game for anything illegal.
If you edit your save or import a changed save, you do so at your own risk. It can break your progress, and we can’t repair progress damaged that way.
In versions offering Guild Hall, joining guild play requires the supported sign-in method and the account, public membership information and save-snapshot processing described in our Privacy Policy. Player and guild names are generated; there is no chat. Guild access depends on the game's joining settings and any applicable fair-play restriction. Automated checks raise notices for human review. A human decision may restrict guild access for verified cheating; that guild restriction does not block offline single-player play. Contact support with your Player ID if you believe a restriction is mistaken. Sign Out keeps the guild account; Options › Guild Account › Delete Guild Account deletes it subject to the evidence-retention limits in the Privacy Policy.
In versions offering Feedback, you may send a bug report, idea or other message to the studio. Send only information you want us to receive; do not include passwords, payment card numbers or identity documents. Replies may arrive inside the game. Any promo code supplied with a reply is a support thank-you, subject to the conditions shown with it, not a promise of compensation or a cash payment.
8. Ownership
We or our licensors own the game, including its code, art, music, text and characters. Copyright and other laws protect them. Some content is used under licenses from others. These terms only give you the right to play the game.
9. Updates, availability and ending this agreement
- We can change the game. We may update, change or stop offering the game, its features or its purchases at any time.
- If we stop offering the game, we’ll try to give notice in the game or on our website. The Store and Restore Purchases may stop working. The game already on your device should keep working, but we can’t promise it will work with future versions of iOS or Android.
- You can end this agreement at any time by deleting the game.
- Your license ends automatically if you break these terms, as the Standard EULA also says.
- Some sections stay in effect after the agreement ends: sections 4, 8, 10 and 11.
10. Disclaimers and limits on liability
We provide the game “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no promises (warranties) about the game beyond those in the Standard EULA. For example, we don’t promise that the game will be free of errors, that it will always be available, or that your progress won’t be lost.
To the fullest extent the law allows:
- we aren’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data or progress;
- our total liability to you for any claim about the game is limited to US $50 or the amount you paid for in-app purchases in the game in the 12 months before the claim, whichever is greater.
Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can’t be waived. It also doesn’t limit our liability where the law doesn’t allow that, such as for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Governing law
The laws of the State of Missouri, United States, govern these terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer living outside the United States, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country, and you may bring a claim in your local courts. If you have a problem, please email us first. We can solve most problems that way.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version on this page and update the effective date. If a change is significant, we’ll also tell you in the game or in the App Store or Google Play release notes. If you keep playing after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms. Changes don’t apply to disputes that started before the change.
13. The Android version (Google Play)
If you got the game from Google Play, these differences apply:
- Your license. Apple’s Standard EULA doesn’t apply. Instead, we give you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to download, install and use the game on Android devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial entertainment, under these terms. The Google Play Terms of Service also apply to your use of Google Play. Where these terms mention the Standard EULA, they mean this license. Your license ends automatically if you break these terms.
- Saves. The game saves your progress on your device and, if you’re signed in to Google Play Games with sync on, in your Play Games account, which Google manages. Section 3 applies to that copy, with Google Play Games in place of iCloud, your Google Account in place of your Apple Account, and Google Play in place of the App Store. Use Cloud › Export to Clipboard to keep your own backup.
- Payment. Google Play handles payment, with your Google Account, under Google Play’s terms. Google Play sets prices in your local currency, and the game shows them before you buy.
- Permanent purchases stay with your Google Account and can be restored on Android with Restore Purchases. Google Play’s family library doesn’t cover in-app purchases, so they can’t be shared with your family.
- Pending purchases. Some purchases wait for a payment to clear, such as cash at a store, or for a family manager’s approval. The game delivers them when Google Play confirms the payment.
- Refunds. Purchases are final. Google Play decides refund requests under its own refund policies; for example, you can ask Google Play for a refund within 48 hours of a purchase. We don’t give refunds ourselves, except where your local consumer law requires it. If a purchase is refunded, we may remove what it gave you; for a permanent purchase, its benefits stop.
- Purchases don’t move between stores. Purchases made on the App Store and on Google Play are separate. A save you import keeps the items already delivered to it, but Restore Purchases brings back only what the store account on that device bought.
