Terms of Service
Effective date: September 9, 2026
These Terms govern your use of spellwrightstudios.com, guest combat at /play/, and Valor's Epoch, including its pre-release builds, all operated by Spellwright Studios (together, the "Services").
If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
1. Who we are

Use is also subject to our Privacy Policy.
3. Eligibility
You must be old enough to use the Services where you live. Adult-restricted titles, where offered, are 18+.
4. Website guest combat
Encounters under /play/ are unpaid guest fights. They skip account creation and cloud save. They are not the full campaign, which is in development. We may change, pause, or remove scenarios at any time.
5. Game accounts
- You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Provide accurate information if you sign in.
- We may suspend access as described in these Terms.
6. License
We grant a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for personal entertainment.
You agree not to copy, reverse engineer (except as allowed by law), circumvent protections, or disrupt the Services.
7. Conduct
Do not harass others, cheat, distribute malware, or attempt unauthorized access.
8. Purchases
The optional Supporter Pack is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play or Apple. Its contents and local price are shown before purchase. Permanent unlocks remain on the purchasing game account; the included ad-free stamina benefit lasts 30 days and does not automatically renew. Use Restore Purchases with the original store account to recover eligible purchases. Refunds follow store policy and applicable law. Virtual items and in-game currency have no real-world cash value; the Grand Exchange is an in-game trading system, not cash withdrawal.
9. Advertising
The game offers optional rewarded ads for up to 20 stamina, limited by the stamina cap and two successful refreshes per account per UTC day. Supporter refreshes use the same daily allowance during the 30-day benefit. Ads are requested by the player outside combat and depend on availability. A cancelled or failed ad does not consume a reward claim. Website advertising is separate.
10. Third parties
Authentication, hosting, billing, and ads may be provided by third parties under their terms.
11. Availability
We may update or stop offering parts of the Services. We do not promise uninterrupted access.
12. Intellectual property
Studio art, code, and names belong to Spellwright Studios or licensors. Valor's Epoch uses the 5.1 SRD under CC-BY-4.0. We are not affiliated with Wizards of the Coast. See SRD attribution. Nothing in these Terms limits rights granted directly under that Creative Commons license or other applicable open-source licenses.
13. Feedback
If you send ideas, we may use them without compensation.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend access if you violate these Terms.
15. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE."
16. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPELLWRIGHT STUDIOS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES. TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO SPELLWRIGHT STUDIOS FOR THE SERVICES IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.
17. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Spellwright Studios against claims arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
18. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be brought in Missouri courts where permitted.
19. Changes
Continued use after we post updates means you accept the new Terms.
