Ember mite cinders

An ember mite is a cinder-insect that lives on dry ground and bites and burns in the same strike. The flash is easy to see; the fester from a swarm of small bites is what actually costs a company time afterward.

Ember mites aren’t an open fight on this site yet. The Codex shows the figure, but there’s no contract built around them. They’re part of the same wildlife as the well’s slimes and the brushline’s needlers (“iron,” in Guild speech), just not one of the four jobs currently playable here.

Briarlings, the woodland’s thorn-hunters, are in the same category: real, figured in the Codex, and not yet a fight this site has written.
