Fifth edition · hex combat
Valor's Epoch
Valor is silent. The Adventurers' Guild still posts work, and the woodland still answers with slimes, needlers, and worse.
Sit a contract on the forest hex table: real 5.1 dice beside the minis, a Champion holding the door, a Life cleric keeping the party standing, an evoker waiting for a clean lane. Parties climb from first slots to Extra Attack. The last open contract is a CR 5 lord that buds.

What Valor's Epoch is
After Valor fell, the Guild kept posting work — a fifth-edition hex game in a woodland that never went quiet.

The shard
The Adventurers' Guild
A hall that turned trouble into scraps. On a longer campaign it remembers a party. Here it only posts the work.
2 min
The woodland after the fall
Grove, brushline, hollow, and deep. The trees did not get the news that Valor is gone.
1 min
After Valor fell
The god is silent. The work is not. People on the shard still plant, still walk, still send for the Guild.
2 min
The first company
The elementalist
A wizard in the back hexes. Evocation and control from the cells the warrior is buying. The lane, not a closer look.
2 min
The cleric
Life Domain. Bless and cure wounds already in hand. The shoulder behind the warrior, not a sermon in the film.
2 min
The warrior
The door. A Champion fighter from a second action to Extra Attack. The hexes that keep a slam off the other two.

The grove pack
Corrupted slime and the hollow
A blighted ooze whose touch sickens. The old hollow goes black around it. On the table it does not walk alone.

The grove pack
Iron is the woodland's wildlife: well and brush, hollow and deep. Not a ladder. A pack that did not get the news.
1 min
Ember mite cinders
A swarming cinder that bites and burns at once. The flash is easy to see. The tiny bites are what fester.

Needler in the brush
It shoots as defense. Traders remember punctures, not a weapon. The margin is its room.
1 min
Slime on the well
A weak ooze that pours through inch-wide gaps. One is a nuisance. A cluster pins and burns.
